If it wasn't for Hogan, wrestling would not be where it is today. Hogan, Piper, Andre and Sylvester Stallone are the cornerstones for mainstream wrestling and I say Stallone because of Rocky III.
Nobody heard of Hogan before Rocky III and his role as Thunder Lips. Hogan and Mr. T were in Rocky III and the two of them just happened to headline the very first Wrestlemania.
Before then you were lucky to catch wrestling on television unless you lived in New York or Georgia and then it was on like Sunday afternoons or at 5am in the morning or after midnight on MSG Network.
